Australia’s medical regulator has approved COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots for people aged 18 years and older.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration says people can receive their third dose at least six months after their last shot. However the approval by the TGA doesn’t mean Australians can get a third dose just yet.

The Federal Government needs to wait on the final sign off from its national vaccine advisory body known as ATAGI.
