The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “In full: Sajid Javid confirms easing of Covid-19 restrictions” – below is their description.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid has confirmed the easing of the government’s Covid-19 restrictions.

“It’s not the end of the road and we shouldn’t see this as the finish line because we cannot eradicate this virus and its future variants,” Mr Javid said.

“Instead we must learn to live with Covid in the same way as we have learned to live with flu.”

The Health Secretary added that the government would set out its long term plan for living with Covid this spring.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the scrapping of England’s Covid Plan B in the Commons earlier on Wednesday.
