NZ prime minister Jacinda Ardern has suspended quarantine-free travel from Australia, following outbreaks in NSW, Victoria and South Australia.
The pause will commence at 11:59pm on July 23.
The highly-transmissable delta strain is of serious concern.
Ardern says she still wants to bubble to resume and will reassess the situation in eight weeks time.
