Tasmanian Acting Premier Jeremy Rockliff delivers a COVID-19 update. A 15 year old who tested positive to COVID-19 after arriving in Tasmania from Melbourne left home quarantine to visit a supermarket on Saturday.

Authorities confirmed his positive test yesterday, and initially said it was a low-risk to the community.

Acting Premier Jeremy Rockliff says subsequent information has come to light that the 15 year old visited an IGA at 113 George Town Road, Newnham.
