    Boris Johnson and Keir Starmer clashed over support for the self-employed during the coronavirus pandemic. The Labour leader said the scheme was badly targeted and wasteful, with many people being left out. The Prime Minister said 2.6m self-employed people have received support and uprated Universal Credit – something which Labour wanted to scrap. The Labour leader says the scheme “simply doesn’t apply” to millions of self-employed people and there is “a real cost to this”.
