    Dido Harding said people are not complying with self-isolation requirements “because they find it very difficult” to do so financially. The head of NHS Test and Trace told Jeremy Hunt: “People are not complying with isolation, not because they don’t want to but because they find it very difficult. “The need to keep earning and feed your family is a fundamental element of that, which is why I think the financial support package is a very important thing.” Baroness Harding faced questions about the performance of the NHS Test and Trace programme against the backdrop of a rising number of positive Covid-19 cases. She appeared in front of the health and social care committee with Dr Susan Hopkins, Chief Medical Adviser at NHS Test and Trace.
