Former US President Bill Clinton said he was “doing great” after being hospitalised for a urological infection last week.
In the recorded message published on Wednesday, Clinton said he was glad to be home and thanked the medical team at the University of California Irvine Medical Centre.
“Take some time to listen to your body and care for yourselves. We all have work to do and each of us has an important role to play in life and in the immediate future,” he added.
He also thanked his doctor Dr. Alpesh Amin who oversaw his care.
Clinton was discharged on Sunday and will finish his course of antibiotics in his home state of New York.
