Business Secretary Sajid Javid has said the government will do everything they can do keep Port Talbot open. Speaking to Andrew Marr, he revealed he knew “a few weeks ago” that Tata planned big restructure while he was in Australia. Mr Javid has also refused to rule out nationalisation of Tata plants, but says it is “rarely the answer”.
