‘I want you to know that your lives matter’: Obama to young African-Americans

“I want you to know that your lives matter, that your dreams matter”, Barack Obama says in a message addressed to young African-Americans during a webcast with activists. “You’ve communicated a sense of urgency that is as powerful and as transformative as anything that I’ve seen in recent years”, the former U.S. president adds in reaction to protests after the death of George Floyd.
