Defying authorities, around 250 people marched through the streets of the Peruvian capital in protest against a second lockdown. The restrictions will be in place for the next two weeks in an attempt to curb the second wave of Covid infections that has overloaded healthcare facilities across the country.

Demonstrators do not agree with the new measures which do not allow many to work and they argue the government is not doing enough to assist them financially.
