    Huge queues of eager customers formed outside stores across the country, as coronavirus restrictions were eased.

    Hundreds of shoppers queued up outside Primark, JD Sports, Selfridges and Debenhams as shops reopened for the first time since early January.

    Non-essential retailers are allowed to open their doors to the public once again from Monday, April 12 in the next step of the government’s lockdown roadmap.
