    Protesters said they have dug and are ready to occupy a 100ft tunnel network under a small central London park they claim is at risk from the HS2 line development.

    The protest group, HS2 Rebellion, said “tree protectors” were prepared to occupy the tunnels, dug “in secret” over the last few months, and stay underground “for as long as it takes to stop HS2”.
