How to do Ladies Day from home | Royal Ascot At Home 2020

With all the surreal weirdness of the last few months, the idea of dressing up for Royal Ascot Ladies Day without actually going to Royal Ascot Ladies Day sounds absolutely normal and completely sane.

Although there may not be champagne flowing or any fancy hats or fascinators in sight this Ladies’ Day – there are ways to continue the traditions online and at home.

Owner of The Hat Thing, Liz Walker, has some suggestions for those watching the Royal Ascot at home this year.

Ladies Day is traditionally the day in which women dress to impress – usually the most colourful day of the week.

High-fashion hats are worn for the occasion.

Amid the strict Government guidelines, the five-day sporting event in Berkshire will have no monarch, no royal carriage procession, no trophy presentations and no spectators attending this year.
