While the country supplies up to 50% of the EU’s natural gas, some analysts believe it’s deliberately withholding additional supplies to drive prices up. Dr Jack Sharples from the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies speaks to The World’s Beverley O’Connor.

As a recognised nuclear-weapon state, the country possesses the world’s largest stockpile of nuclear weapons.
