Fox News shifted its coronavirus language, according to Washington Post video report
The Washington Post reviews the changing language of Fox News, and its contributors, in relation to the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in the USA:
Over the past month, many Fox News anchors and personalities have gone from doubting the seriousness of the coronavirus pandemic to calling it a public health crisis.
Washington Post YouTube Channel
CNN told how President Donald Trump has changed his tone on the coronavirus outbreak, and here Washington Post shows us that Fox News has also swung a swift 180 turn, too.
The American people can be forgiven for failing to guage the seriousness of the outbreak, given the mixed messages represented in the media.
The World Health Organization has been clear: aggressively containing this virus is the only way to prevent healthcare systems from being overwhelmed by a virus for which there is no immunity – nor vaccine – and a significant proportion of those who catch require intensive care on a ventilator, or risk death.
It is beneficial to controlling this pandemic that media is more in alignment now.
