How did people in Tonga feel when the volcano erupted? Speaker of Tonga’s Legislative Assembly of Tonga Lord Fatafehi Fakafanua told Liu Xin his wife felt shockwaves vibrating the building, going right through the body. “We got away but the effects will be felt in years to come! We need water and food.”
