BBC News published this video item, entitled “How can Coca-Cola solve its plastic problem? – BBC News” – below is their description.
Coca-Cola has been named the world’s biggest plastic polluter, using over 100 billion throwaway plastic bottles every year.
The Pacific Island of Samoa has begun to experience for itself, after the drinks company switched from glass to plastic bottles on the Pacific island earlier this year.
As the country is too small to operate its own recycling plant, the glass bottles provided an incentive for people to return and reuse them.
