South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Hong Kong tightens social-distancing measures to cope with fourth wave surge of Covid-19 cases” – below is their description.
A new series of measures to fight Covid-19 went into effect in Hong Kong on December 2, 2020, as the city tried to get a fourth wave of infections under control. Civil servants were instructed to work from home for at least two weeks. All public gatherings and the number of diners allowed at each table in restaurants was again reduced to two people. Gyms, sports venues and beauty parlours will remain open, but swimming pools, amusement parks and other entertainment venues have been forced to close yet again. On November 29, Hong Kong reported a four-month high of 115 new Covid-19 cases. The city had recorded cases in the high double-digits for several days over the previous week.
