Hong Kong Protests: Residents turn on protestors

Chinese troops have been deployed on the streets of Hong Kong – not to crush the anti-government protests but to help clean up the damage after last night’s unrest.

More clashes broke out this evening after a relatively calm day – as police fired tear gas at people throwing petrol bombs from a university roof, setting debris on the road alight. From Hong Kong – Matt Frei reports.
