The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Hong Kong football fans boo China’s national anthem at first match since security bill enacted” – below is their description.
Hong Kong football fans were heard booing the China’s national anthem at a friendly match against Myanmar.
It was the first match open to spectators since the national security law was passed more than two years ago.
Hong Kong’s legislature also passed a bill specifically criminalising disrespectful acts towards the anthem.
According to local reports, police were filming the crowd as they looked for booing fans.
Fans have not been able to attend matches for almost three years due to Covid.
