South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Hong Kong cuts Covid-19 hotel quarantine for overseas travellers to 3 days plus 4 days at home” – below is their description.
Hong Kong will ease Covid-19 entry rules for international arrivals from August 12, 2022. The city will require uninfected travellers to stay in a hotel for three days then stay at home, or in a hotel, for the following four days. Current rules require travellers to spend a week in quarantine at a designated hotel of their choice. Under the new arrangements, travellers who continue to test negative for the virus during their final four days of the week after arrival will be able to leave home to visit low-risk locations such as offices and shopping centres and they can use public transport.
