French president François Hollande continues his state visit to India, aiming to secure the sale of some 36 Rafale fighter jets.
But alongside the military hardware deals, it’s the body language between the two heads of state that had drawn much attention: one day hugging and holding hands, the next day sitting together in awkward silence on the metro.
Economist Jean-Joseph BOILLOT, author of the French edition of “India for Dummies”, gives us his analysis of the budding chemistry between François Hollande and Narendra Modi.
