Historian wins bid to read ‘Palace letters’ written during Whitlam dismissal | ABC News

Historian and Whitlam biographer Jenny Hocking has won her High Court bid to get access to the letters between the governor-general Sir John Kerr and the Queen around the time of the dismissal of the Whitlam government.

Professor Hocking is hoping the letters will shed light on what the Queen may have known about the dismissal.
