ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Himalayan border dispute at a stalemate as both sides blame the other | The World” – below is their description.
Talks between India and China to resolve a protracted standoff on a stretch of Himalayan border are at a stalemate. This standoff began last year when 20 Indian troops were killed at Ladakh in the first deadly clash between the two sides in 45 years. And both countries are blaming each other for the failure to make progress.
Dr Raji Rajagopalan is from the Observer Research Foundation. She says a breakthrough looks near-impossible.
