    Excerpts – The United Nations General Assembly held a special meeting to commemorate the Organization’s 75th anniversary. “At its birth, the United Nations was a symbol of global unity, and today it is the epicenter,” said Secretary-General António Guterres. Representatives from the international community stood in the UN General Assembly to reaffirm their commitment to the promise made 75 years ago: to promote global peace and progress through cooperation.
