Some high-tech equipment designed for personnel rescue, contamination control and monitoring in battles involving nuclear and biochemical weapons recently debuted at a military drill by a unit of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Rocket Force in the Gobi Desert.
In the drill, a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle carrying an air-drop detector first took off upon receiving order. The drill also simulated personnel search and rescue operation featuring comprehensive control of radioactive substance in the air and on the ground.
