High profile Nationals candidate pulls out of Eden-Monaro by-election | ABC News

NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro has pulled out as a potential candidate for the federal seat of Eden-Monaro. The Nationals Leader had long held ambitions to make the switch to federal politics, but his decision to stay put means the state’s Transport Minister, Liberal Andrew Constance, is likely to announce his candidacy.
