Helen Glover video profile – bidding for glory five years and three children after her last Olympics

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Helen Glover video profile – bidding for glory five years and three children after her last Olympics” – below is their description.

Helen Glover is a two-time Olympic champion, triple world champion and quadruple European champion.

She is also a mother to three children and the first British female rower to come back to compete at an Olympic Games after giving birth.

“Rowing is a very demanding sport, involving training several times a day,” says Telegraph’s Sport reporter Pippa Field.

“Helen, having given birth to three children, has managed to balance all this with the demands of a rowing programme and still make it back onto the Olympic team.

“She was still breastfeeding into the early stages of this year… it’s something quite remarkable.”

Watch our profile in full to learn more about Glover’s journey, including making history at London 2012, her unmatched unbeaten run and how she refuses to see herself as anything “special”.
