Heather Taylor aims to become first Australian to row from California to Hawaii | ABC News

When Heather Taylor launches her 7-metre boat into the Pacific Ocean in mid-April, it will be the last time she sees another person or solid land for months. Taylor is attempting to row from Monterey in California to Hilo in Hawaii, aiming to become the first Australian to complete the crossing solo.
