DW News published this video item, entitled “Heat waves push India to ban export of wheat | DW News” – below is their description.

That came as a surprise: India is the world’s second largest wheat producer and had said it would fill the supply gap left by major suppliers Russia and Ukraine. The G7 has been pressuring India to reverse its ban. But the southern Asian country says it will continue to supply countries with a food deficit, after it can secure supply for its own population.
