Authorities have issued a health alert to residents in Sydney’s south-west to come forward for testing after traces of the coronavirus were found in wastewater. Residents across 39 suburbs were advised to get tested if presenting even the mildest of symptoms. Fragments of the virus were detected in the Liverpool treatment plant – which serviced suburbs including Hoxton Park, Moorebank and Warwick Farm.
