CGTN published this video item, entitled “Headline Buster: Media report on China-WHO joint mission” – below is their description.
For more:
The China-WHO joint mission, part of the COVID-19 global source-tracing research, wrapped up in January. But instead of highlighting the scientific findings, many media reports are focusing on what they call “tense” moments between the Chinese and international experts or saying the researchers said China refused to hand over data. But how reflective are these reports of the researchers’ experiences? Is that really what they said? In this week’s Headline Buster, CGTN anchor Liu Xin looks at the gap between what the researchers said and what the media claims they said.
Guest: Chen Qingqing, senior reporter at Global Times; Scott Ritter, former U.S. Marine Corps intelligence officer; Prof. Wu Zhiwei, Center for Public Health Research Medical School of Nanjing University
