Mourners in Windsor have paid tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh’s memory ahead of his funeral.
“He had great wit”, said one of many people who travelled to Windsor on the day of the funeral. “He was always so kind to us, and lots of people feel so proud of everything he’s done for the country”.
Prince Philip’s sense of humour and commitment to the Queen were some of the traits which the public will remember him for.
