    An Indian government microcredit scheme designed to help street vendors cope with COVID-19 has provoked controversy.

    Many say it is being damaged by corruption, mismanagement and nepotism.

    Millions were meant to benefit from the microloan bailout, but many have not received any payments, and street vendors are angry.
