Sen. Kamala Harris blasted President Donald Trump’s record of being soft on Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin. She aimed her attacks at Vice President Mike Pence at the first and only vice-presidential debate on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, in Salt Lake City. Harris said: “Public reporting that Russia had bounties on the heads of American soldiers and you know what a bounty is — somebody puts a price on your head and they will pay it if you are killed and Donald Trump had talked at least 6 times to Vladimir Putin had never brought up the subject. Joe Biden would never do that. Joe Biden would hold Russia to account to our nation’s security or our troops who are sacrificing their lives for our democracy and our safety.”
