    British Health Secretary Matt Hancock on Saturday urged people in the UK to get their second coronavirus vaccine as soon as possible after a study found the vaccine was effective against a variant of the virus first discovered in India.

    A new study published by Public Health England found both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines were highly effective against the Indian variant after people had received their second jab.
