Halsey concert in Maryland cancelled as storm floods venue

Global News published this video item, entitled “Halsey concert in Maryland cancelled as storm floods venue” – below is their description.

Fans of Halsey’s stood next to electrical cables as water rushed by their feet at a flooded Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., on Wednesday after the area was hit by heavy rains, prompting the popstar’s concert to be cancelled.

Halsey was scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m. but severe weather forced the venue to delay the show, local media reported.

The venue tweeted that the delayed show would resume at 9:30 p.m., however, the concert was cancelled not long later.

The singer criticized the venue, writing: “I am beyond disappointed with the way the venue handled everything tonight and my rescheduled date will be happening somewhere else. I hear you guys loud and clear I promise.”
