In Haiti, the total number of victims of Hurricane Matthew now stands at over 1,000. Two weeks after the disaster, locals are still facing the consequences. In the absence of safe drinking water, the spread of cholera has become an urgent issue. In the south of the country, 20 people have already died from it, and almost 300 are reportedly ill. The wind has also decimated the harvests of corn and bananas, sparking fears of a famine that could last several months. Our team on the ground reports.
