    Hail fell in Ponchatoula, La. on April 14 amid continued stormy weather across the state, while a line of thunderstorms brought hail and gusty winds to the Houston, Texas, area on April 15.

    The National Weather Service (NWS) reported the hail in the Houston area was “pea-sized.”

    The NWS had forecast winds of up to 60 mph and the possibility of quarter-sized hail stones in areas near Baton Rouge, La.
