Gulf crisis: US steps up efforts to try and resolve dispute

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has asked two officials, including retired general and former Middle East envoy Anthony Zinni, to work on ending the Gulf diplomatic crisis.

The dispute, which has seen a Saudi-led bloc impose a blockade on Qatar, is now into its third month with no end in sight.
