Global News published this video item, entitled “Growing worries within Conservatives over Erin O’Toole’s leadership” – below is their description.
The latest Ipsos poll shows that the Liberals have gained a little bit of ground if an election were held today.
Ipsos polling done exclusively for Global News found that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s Liberals would receive 35 per cent of the popular vote — up two percentage points from last month — while the Conservatives would receive 28 per cent, down from 30 per cent.
National support for both the NDP and Bloc Quebecois has also decreased as well, while the Green Party saw an increase to 10 per cent of decided voters asked.
The upheaval of the pandemic does not appear to have hurt the Liberals politically. And the challenge for the Conservative leader is finding a way to gain traction.
Chief Political Correspondent David Akin is taking a look at this.
