Canadian Green Party Leader Elizabeth May has had a political legacy not many can hold a candle to. The former leader organized against pesticide spraying in Cape Breton, N.S. and in the 1980s, the environmental lawyer worked on Canada’s earliest climate policies on acid rain and ozone depletion in the government of Brian Mulroney. In 2006, she became the leader of the Green Party and was the first elected Green member nationally in 2011. Eric Sorensen takes a look at her storied journey.
