Grant Shapps: Quarantine period cut from 14 to five days for travellers and holidaymakers

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Grant Shapps: Quarantine period cut from 14 to five days for travellers and holidaymakers” – below is their description.

British holidaymakers returning from high-risk countries will see their quarantine period cut by from 14 days to five, plus a Covid-19 test, from mid December. Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps confirmed the move, which has had a mixed reaction from travel bosses. While many are hoping it will provide a much needed boost to the industry, others highlight that the cost of taking a private test could increase holiday expenses significantly for families.
