ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “GPs given extra doses of AstraZenneca for next stage of rollout | ABC News” – below is their description.
Canberra’s general practitioners are now able to offer appointments for anyone over the age of 50 to receive their AstraZeneca vaccine as part of the next phase of the national rollout.
Additional doses have been made available to more than 70 primary care vaccination sites in the ACT – the centres were originally allocated 50 or 100 doses per week, but some may now order up to 200.
But GPs say demand for the AstraZeneca vaccine is low and much of their time is being spent explaining risks to patients.ABC News (Australia) YouTube Channel
