Government reveals details of renovation grants | 7.30

When the Federal Government unveiled its $688 million building stimulus package, it was keen to emphasise it was very different from Labor’s GFC schemes – more controls and it will only run for a limited time. But that means less impact too. The Prime Minister says the cash grants for home renovations and new houses will support tradesmen and sub-contractors, and are an important step in the road back from the coronavirus.
