Just a few days after a dog was attacked by a coyote in a Scarborough neighbourhood, Global News cameras caught the same coyote appearing to chase a man on a scooter.
Ten-year-old Lily Kwan had taken her dog on a walk on Tuesday morning, when the coyote approached. The dog, a six-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, was injured in the attack.
Kwan believes the dog was trying to protect her from the wild animal. Caryn Lieberman reports on the attack, and the advice from wildlife experts.
