The calls to free Canadians Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig are rising, as they mark 1,000 days since being detained in China. Their arrest is largely seen as retaliation to Canada’s arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou. To the Canadian federal election, amid allegations of inappropriate behaviour, Raj Saini has dropped out of the election campaign.
