Mercedes Stephenson has more on how some veterans are struggling for emotional and financial support. Manitoba is about to enter a “code red” lockdown amid the pandemic, as the situation in the province is the worst it has been since the novel coronavirus outbreak began. Brittany Greenslade reports from Winnipeg. Across the country, there are calls to do more to protect Canadians in long-term care, with multiple COVID-19 cases, and deaths, being reported in several provinces. Eric Sorensen has more on the troubling trend. U.S. President Donald Trump is still refusing to concede to president-elect Joe Biden. As Jackson Proskow reports, Trump is determined to continue his lawsuits challenging election results with unsubstantiated claims of fraud. Plus, in London, U.K, only a select few attended an Armistice Day service in Westminster Abbey. But as Crystal Goomansingh explains, people still found a way to pay tribute with the “Shine On” virtual exhibit, while Mike Drolet looks at how veterans are being honoured from a distance during the pandemic.
