The city of Uvalde, Texas is in despair after a gunman shot and killed 19 children and two teachers, in what is now the second deadliest U.S. school shooting. Jackson Proskow reports on who the victims are, the devastating grief overwhelming their families, and the anger politicians are facing once again over another senseless mass shooting.

The school shooting is also forcing many people to revisit America’s past school shootings, especially the December 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
