Tonight we’re taking a look at the question many of us are wondering about: Once we get vaccinated for COVID-19 what will we be allowed to do? Only a tiny fraction of Canadians have had the shot at this point. As of today, only about 567,000 Canadians have been fully vaccinated whereas in the United States about 30 million have been fully vaccinated. And today the American Centres for Disease Control sent out the first public health guidelines for those who have been fully vaccinated. These are American guidelines not Canadian, but they do offer a glimpse into what life will be like for all of us in the months ahead. Jackson Proskow reports.
Federal health officials are asking Canadians to be vigilant until vaccine access fully expands. Four different vaccines are now approved for use here in Canada, but that doesn’t mean you should pick and choose which one you want. What matters is that they all protect you from getting seriously ill. Erik Sorensen explains.
